Flash preview for Sept 1st books opening!
Hello all!
I hope everyone is well and enjoying/sweating their way through summer like I have been. I’ve been fortunate enough to be traveling quite a bit. (I’m sending this to you now from Scotland!) From Italy to Michigan to Alaska to Edinburgh, I’ve met wonderful people, ate incredible food, and seen amazing plant and wildlife that I can’t wait to incorporate into my flash.
Top row: The Turnagain Arm near Anchorage, AK. Bottom row: Monterosso al Mare, in Cinqe Terre, Italy
There have been so many great pieces I’ve enjoyed doing this past round and here are a couple of my favorites:
In the past few weeks that I spent at home in Brooklyn, I’ve been rewatching The Great Pottery Throw Down for the third time like a security blanket. If you’re late to this show like I was, don’t miss out! It’s incredibly relaxing, sweet, and will inspire you to take up a ceramics class.
Also, the new season of What We Do in the Shadows is rolling out now. Nothing better than centuries old vampires learning to communicate their feelings and dealing with extremely mundane life issues like house repair and living with roommates.
I just read my first Sarah Waters book, Tipping the Velvet, a beautiful Sapphic period piece. Thank you to all of my brilliant clients for the recommendations. I love hearing all the stuff you’re getting in to and getting up to lately!
I am very ready to cozy up into the Fall months and even more ready to share the flash I’ve been working on! Books are opening on September 1st for Oct and Nov appointments.
As always, I’ll be accepting mostly flash, and a couple customs. If we’re in the middle of a multisession piece (already mapped out and planned sleeves, half sleeves, back pieces, big leg plants, etc.) and you’re ready to book another session, Rhiannon and I will get you in!
Here is half of the new available flash for when books open at midnight on Sept 1st. The next half will come in a second email right after this one!
The rest of the flash is coming in the following email- I’ll also send out another reminder to everyone right when books open on the 1st so you don’t miss it!
